Children’s products recently recalled for safety reasons
Consumer safety is crucial, especially when it comes to children's products. A product recall happens when the government and manufacturer remove a product from the market. The primary reason for doing so is that the product is dangerous or poses a risk of serious harm. The government can recall anything, including cribs, toys and highchairs. The Food and Drug Administration and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are responsible for recalling products. However, most children's products fall under the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.Recalls happen in various ways, sometimes when a company finds a flaw in the product during testing. In other cases, a recall can happen after an injury or death occurs after using the product.
