Check the base and cover of your child’s Contigo water bottles. If the base and cover is black, you need to stop using it immediately. Only the models with a spout base and spout cover black in color are included in this recall.
You can also find a code printed on the rim and along the bottom of the bottle. If it has the numbers 20-074, it is part of the recall. The water bottles were sold individually, in 2-packs, and in 3-packs. The recalled bottles were sold nationwide and online from April 2018 until now. Target, Walmart, and Costco were among the many retailers who carried this product.
What should I do if I have a recalled bottle?
Stop using the bottle immediately. Contigo is offering free replacements for returned water bottles that are part of this recall.
What happened during the first recall?
